A place called peace

It’s boxing day. Officially it is over for many, but for many others, like myself, hanging onto the magic of the Christmas Season. Traditions don’t end on Christmas day, at least I don’t think they have to. I think we need to hang onto that magical feeling as long as we possibly can. In fact, I think we can carry it with us all year long. Remember what this season has given us. Remember that feeling of family, love and togetherness. THAT is what we need to carry in our hearts, not only the month of December, but all year long!

I was listening to the radio today, I must admit, most goes in one ear and out the other…but one thing stuck today. A poll that questioned 2000 people, asking them about their financial situation, and they all said they are fearful of their financial situation, especially coming into this new year. I used to be, but as I am growing and learning, this month I witnessed an amazing miracle of giving, loving and togetherness. For the first time in many many years,  I feel contentment, total gratitude, and even a sense of belonging. I have faith. I have faith that I am exactly where I need to be, this is no accident. I don’t feel anxiety about the past, present or the future. No matter what comes my way for 2012, I will remind myself…this was no accident. Accept all blessings, smile and learn the lessons, and know in my heart…all is perfect.

There are times throughout a day, when it’s hectic, chaotic, and perhaps crazy!  There is always a place that brings me back to centre, grounded, and complete peace. When I step out into nature, all is perfect with the world. When you are here, how can you think about all the problems, it is here they all go away, and if you allow yourself…actually find the solution. Open your heart and mind, the answers will come.Image
