Tee Pee

Tee Pee

Home Sweet Home

They set up the Tee Pee the night before the Pow Wow.  It’s a special time preparing for the sacred ceremonies. At this moment as the sun is setting, the moon was already rising.  For me, and this is my own personal feeling, you may have your own when you see it, but for me as it raises into place, so tall and grand, it represents home. Our brothers and sisters travel from all around to come to the pow wow,  you see the tee pee and they know they are home and among family and friends.
